Secure Memory Care Community: Residents with advanced dementia or who are no longer safe without consistent supervision can have a place of their own. This entire community is created for residents who struggle with memory loss.

Safety: Our secure environment is specially designed for resident safety and independence, created to be easy to navigate and prevent wandering off-site.

Coming to the decision to move my parents to a care facility was difficult and after visiting many places …this is the one that felt like home. I loved that every visit, the residents were all in the common room. one resident was playing the piano with others gathered around singing. Another day they were playing a Paul McCartney video, and several were singing and dancing. The rooms are quite large, and the wings all open to a sunny yard with seating, raised gardens, and tables. The staff have been excellent … two weeks in and my parents are settled and comfortable. Great place!
One cannot appreciate the love and caring it takes to commit to a profession working with those with dementia until a loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other form of dementia. The team at Gig Harbor has been incredible – even amidst the pandemic, which has isolated and separated our most vulnerable.
Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease and having to find a reputable care facility for your loved one is a daunting task. Finding one that not only is extraordinarily professional, but has a staff of the most incredibly caring, loving, and kind people is a bonus! People that were just made for working where they are. The individuals at Gig Harbor, Washington are just those kinds of people. This facility is staffed with the most amazing professionals. My husband and I have never worried about the care that Mom receives or any lack of attention to her. Not only is she so well taken care of, but it is truly a place for peace of mind.
